I am a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran, I would be Honored if I could receive one like that.

I was presented this one from Quilts of Valor a couple weeks ago. They are always looking for quilters and a great organization for a great cause. I felt very honored to receive one from them.

How does one go about being considered to receive one of these remarkable pieces of art???

While a great cause, why is it that you refused volunteers? We have an AWESOME group of quilters ready and willing to volunteer and they were turned away. Why has this organization made it so difficult and expensive to volunteer their craft? The group is now making quilts for "Honor Flight" Veteran passengers and the organization has embraced them. Definitely QofV loss.

Gary,
I can definitely help you with that. I am a group leader in Colorado but all states are represented. Just go to qovf.org and there will be a place where you can nominate someone. If you have trouble send me an email [login to see] and I would be honored to help.
