I am one of the only Brokers in my are to work with VA buyers. Many real estate brokers are conditioned to "council" sellers to reject VA buyers due to the perceived risk with a 100% loan. Make sure you work with the right agent who will fight for you particularly in a competitive market. Happy to help yo find the right agent. Laura

I've used my VA Certificate on my 1st home, paid it off, and now getting ready to use it again in 2021, it was not a pain in using the certificate, it was easy, just make sure that you stay focus and your dream will come true.

One thing different for va loans. When a home is inspected to see if the loan company will except it, roof, termite, etc. On regular loans just the home gets inspected. But with VA loan backed. Then all buildings, barns, shacks etc get inspected.

Have had no issues when we used it to purchase a home when I was stationed at Ft. Knox....you just need to take a look around, talk to finance companies and realtors in the area you are thinking of purchasing in and make an informed decision! Good luck with the process and possible homeownership!

The VA guarantees the loan amount you still must qualify. The earnest money sometimes is waved or you will get it back at closing.
