Pretty self explanitory, Has anyone here used the VA to buy a home? If so, was it a pain and is it worth it?

I would like to retire and sell my existing home in Connecticut and buy a house in possibly in Florida, but not having a full-time job (being retired) wouldn't that make it impossible to get a loan?

How is it possible to obtain a construction VA loan if I want to build a new home? And will they finance the home construction without me having to sell my existing home until after the home is ready?

I am 79 and I am seeking to get out of California (to Arizona or Texas) to buy a lot or an existing home and park and RV trailer or van on it (to live in) is that feasible on a VA loan? I have a daughter in Phoenix and there is a VA in Phoenix. I am in good health. (California does not like veteran-gun owner-Christian and it is not a good place for an old fart of that cut of cloth). (you are just automatically a criminal in their way of doing things) Well I can get an Airstream or something like it for $100,000 or less! and a lot for $10,000 to $20,000 .. if there is not home it needs a septic field and awater and solar welecttricity.

My Name is Ken, I have a home loan already , now in 30 yr mortgage, House, single family, i live in since 1998, at one time I had a VA loan, but currently is a conventional. I'm interested in refi to another VA if would benefit me. I am now 61 yrs old, close to trying semi retirement in say a year and some change, June 2021 im hoping. I'd like my existing mortgage affordable. currently 4.375 on my now mortgage, fixed. My payment is 568.00 with escrow included with this. So, with this I owe think 65,000.00, my house would appraise maybe 95,000 to 100,000 , but havent had an appraisal in long time. Please, give assistance to an refii agent to assist me in any help, Thank you,

Do I need to get a VA Home Loan certification every year or can I just use the one that I have from 2019?

You can use the one you have. The lender can get an updated one for you.
