AM I alone or is it a problems for others here on RP, we have quite a few anonymous members who participate in discussions and other activities, some are relatively courteous and proper in their dealings, others have become belligerent and somewhat disrespectful at times in discussion forums.

I actually have 3 anonymous members in my contacts list, I don't recall them being that or I don't think I would've accepted the original request or sent one to them. My main issue is this, I don't really care if you want to not have a profile pic, but I need to know who I am talking to or dealing with, and some even while in my contacts list I can't view their entire profile or even see their contacts list because of their settings, if you want me as a contact why would I be blocked from seeing your profile.

I think that RP may need to have a mandatory requirement for members names to at least be shown whether active or veteran, I understand the active SMs last name not being available until you are one of their contacts, but at least a first name and last initial needs to be present to know who we are dealing with.

What are your thoughts on this or am I being to much of a pain in the A#@ about it, please be open, honest and frank about your responses, I am a big boy I can handle it.

ANONYMITY and CREDIBILITY

Personally, I find it irritating (don't worry, I'll get over it) when 'members' hide behind anonymity and take part in conversations. Whether 'members' do not post a profile picture or use undercover names or initials, I disregard anything they may have to add.

Although it's their 'right' to hide behind anonymity while taking part in conversations, what are your feelings about engaging someone playing 'cloak and dagger' games in a conversation? Do they earn credibility with you?
