I'm going to 1-37 FAR in fort Lewis in 4 months. I'm currently a medic with the MPs in Korea. How is it for medics? Or just in general

In a field artillery battalion, you’ll find yourself performing duties much like those you currently have in the MP world.
Sick call, CLS classes, etc.
When in the field, there are generally two medics assigned per battery (one per platoon).

Sounds like nothing has changed since I was in 40 years ago. I severed as a medic in an artillery battalion, when first assigned I was with a battery then once I became a Specialist I was at the Battalion aid station. West Germany

The unit I was assigned to was a Lance Missle Unit 1/333 FA that was decommissioned a few years after the wall came down. During the Cold War in Germany there was some field duty that occurred and was needed to keep everyone’s skills at a high level. We really didn’t like being out in the field at the time but looking back I feel it was a good break in the regular routine. Being with the Lance unit did have a big perk as the Missle could not be fired on the European continent so they had a NATO base on Crete, Greece that was the site of test firings. I was fortunate enough to be able to provide medical support two times as our battalion would go annually one week per battery. Great memories of the time there and witnessing the firing which was awesome.

There are 10 medics on RP who were in the 1-37 including three current ones. I'd reach of to some of them and/or post this question directly on the unit page (you can search of any unit page in the search bar).

We always treated our medics with respect and even though there weren't a lot of injuries in our Artillery unit. Our guns were towed and so the trails caught a few off guard and caused injuries but they were there to take care of us so we took care of them.
