I've gotten through MEPS and done and of course passed my urinalysis, I do not and have never done any drugs, which is important to note for this discussion and my questions, now that I have done my MEPS drug test, when will I have to do one next? I only ask as I, of course, have a shy bladder and the process is a pain for everyone involved, so urinalysis tests aren't my favorite thing to do, I'm going into the Army as a 68w, I've heard from a friend that he did not have to do a urinalysis in boot camp, and I've heard some people don't have one again after MEPS until AIT, is this true?

Also, any tips to get over a shy bladder? I'm sure I'm thinking and stressing about it all too much

Don't worry troop - byu the time you are done with the Army - your shy bladder will be an extrovert.

Thank you, I do hope I get over it, there is nothing else about the process that worries me at all, I've been after this since I was a child, a urine test won't hold me down.

let me be the first to say - thank you for your service - and listen to your NCO's and learn from them - both what to do and what not to do.

Hahah. Yeah. And for the record, no one stares at you junk like it’s lunchtime outside of MEPS

Shy bladder or not, you are going to perform in the whiz quiz. Study up, drink tons of water, and get used to it.

SSG Robert Perrotto - Thankfully I don't think I ever witnessed anything crazy. For some reason the worst part for me wasn't the peeing/watching but the awkward walk through the unit holding a cup of warm pee above your head.

SSG Robert Perrotto - had a guy that thought I wouldn't watch him when he insisted he "absolutely need to take a dump too".
Then of course there were the drop the pants to the floor type guys.
A ton that got at least the morning notice and had Marvel / DC Comic boxers on.

so - there I was - and this happened - got voluntold along a with a few other Sergeants to be 'Mike Golfs" for a urinalysis and we gather and get the brief and sign the papers etc etc - the names get called out and a couple of names were called that had excused absences - like they were excused to go take of some personal shit and they come in at such and such time - well 1SG told the PSG's to call them in, have them pee and then carry on, so through out the test , these soldiers came in and one of my peers escorts one of them into the latrine, and then you hear in a very loud voice "Oh hell no" from the latrine and then "I cant believe I just saw this" and they both come out of the latrine. The NCO has a very large prosthetic penis in his hand, with a tube taped down the length. now , I don't know about you folks -but we observe but we don't stare at the troops junk, and the problem with this troop, other then he was cheating and doctoring his urinalysis, was he was a white soldier and the prosthetic penis was black.
