I'm here at FT Bragg for MLC. I wasn't able to get lodging on base. What's the best time to hit the gates in the morning to avoid heavy traffic?

Academy is on the northside...Butner Rd?...gate depends on where you are living, but I'd recommend doing your best to steer clear of Reilly and Yadkin...do a route recon of Honeycutt or Randolph -- All American would be my next COA

MSG (Join to see) - Do a route recon of Plank to Chicken to MacRidge to Longstreet -- (these are range roads, so I don't know if they are open -- reiterate, do a recon) -- You'll turn off Butner to get to Deglopper -- These are heavy traffic too, but the main flow will most likely be heading to division.

From Two Bale, I'd use 295 to come in Reilly Rd gate, follow that to and make a left on Butner, that will take you to the Academy. Reilly gate isn't bad, it's three lane during peak traffic time and they opened another gate nearby recently that helped out.

Hi SFC Livingston, My husband and I are currently stationed here at Bragg. Traffic is extremely heavy during PT/first formation hours in the morning. If you are living 20+ minutes away from post you will want to leave a good 45 minutes or more (especially if you go through the main gate on All American.)
