How can I best prepare for my VR&E appointment?

VocRehab is specifically for retraining an individual, even if they already have a degree, to obtain gainful employment in another area of endeavour that is compreable to the existing disability. Now, in order to maybe be granted moving up to a master's program, one must show that elevation to the Masters level will offer the comparable education required to help the individual gain and keep employment in that same area of educational area of training and not make the service connected disability worse. Ensure that you talk to the Voc rehab coordinator which will be the person determining whether you receive benefits or qualify you. Make sure that you take both tests the times one as well as the untimed.

Trust !e, aside from vet groups and law school vet law clinics, NOVA is the nest, pay whatever consult or retainer they want, try for someone with prior active time, we lucked out, we found one with three yes prior and sevl decades of VA disability paw, just pay what they want, let them take whatever they're due from BA if you win, and do exactly what they say, or go to them for advice and consuiltjng, they're all rrqlpy well qualified, we found, honest....

I'm total perm disabled, so VR&E is out for me, however, in looking at rules covering volunteering, which is a lot more involved than might seem to be to case, I'd found, I stumbled across his stuff...I don't after with everything he saysz I merely mention his stuff to you as he specifically delvesminto VR&E in his material, so I just figured you might care to look through it, also, while you can use he local offices, all stuff within VA has national staff at VA Central Office (VAC9), they can be called their phones are searchable, if you know how to look stuff up, I only !mention that as I've often found that speaking with VACO staff about a lot of stuff has often been quite helpful for my wife and !yself, I'm not saying you'd need it, I'm just explaining I've been able to look up such things, before my disability, I trained at BA hospitals, though we shut my allied health doctoral license sevl yes ago, so I've got a pretty good idea between that and all out yrs of VA disability stuff for me how VA is laid out, I'm not saying the vet groups aren't good, I'm just mentioning what I've learned anecdotally along the way, I'm not trained for it, I've just been around the bureaucratic block more times than I can even count at this point, honest, if you want to chat more, I'm here, OK?

I have dealt extensively with the VA and the VRE. I t will be highly unlikely that they support a Masters program. The program is established to support entry level education for the private sector. No harm in trying but I recommend you prepare yourself for the inevitable and seek employment as it comes. Thank you for your service.
