How can I find out the status on a reenlistment bonus?

I reenlisted on 31 May 2018. No sign of my reenlistment bonus. I’ve called DFAS and they said they have no progress on it as well. It has updated on my ERB and LES but is not on my iperms. I need to know how to go about getting answers because my Career Counselor isn’t providing much assistance.

My husband reenlisted the same day and they told them it was sent to finance on 20 June and then said they have up to 30 days to release it. Will you keep me posted to when you receive yours

I’m sorry to hear that your Carrer Counselor is not providing you with the answers or assistance. Sometimes it can take a few weeks for the payment to be processed. Try to engage them one more time and ask them to check the DJMS report. That will show them the status of your bonus payment. If you feel that he/she is still not providing assistance, go the the next level. If your seeing your BN Career Counselor, go to the BDE Career Counselor, be clear about why you are coming to them, explain that you’ve tried to seek assistance from your Career Counselor.
