How can I get a copy of my paperwork showing that I have been approved for VA Disability?

Go to Ebenefits and print it out. I keep a copy of mine in my car because I have to show it for entrance to some state parks I visit.

Go to the nearest V.A. Hospital, Clinic or County Rep. with all documentation. Get the paper work into the system and wait for the results. If you are turned down and TRULY feel you have a case, get to a VFW for an Advocate in your case. The VFWs all have advocate Officers to handle these matters. One thing I am putting out there is don't wish a disability on yourself which is not true. If it is valid, by all means go forward, if it is just to get money be aware your gains might not be worth allowing the Federal Govt. into your life.

E-benefits.gov or go to the VA.gov page. E-benefits shows everything you are allotted and how to open a new claim. Dependent on your Service connected Rating determines what your compensation is allowed from the VA. You can track almost everything. I have all my original paper work. Lie medical and service Jacket records. You can request a copy of that also. Hope that gets things going. Every year the VA sends me My statue in the mail.

If you just got rated you need to sit tight for a bit, you'll get an award letter on the mail. If you already got it but lost out try the ebenefits web site. They should have a copy of all your VA paperwork

As others have said previously, use the VA ebenefits website to download and/or printout VA letters that will certify your VA Disability on official letterhead.

Head to your local VA and seek out the VFW or AL rep, they can get it right away

Go to my VA and click on my VA disability rating and your get a choice to pick a letter for employer or SF15 or Disability rating another showing dates of service or another showing what type of discharge

If the approval was more than 6 months ago, and you need it for Education Benefits, VA Home Loan, Disabled Veteran License Plates or hunting /fishing license, you must contact VA at [login to see] and when directed to the prompt to leave a message: ask them for a Statement of Current Entitlement. Leave your name and number and give your SSN and address when they return the call.
