If you have off duty employment on active duty you must have that approved by your commander.

Start taking some college courses and start working towards promotions. You are in a great position to get a lot of your courses knocked out by using TA. You don't want to use your GI Bill on core classes after you leave the Army.

Actually since I'm biased, take the new soccer referee course and start doing games which are mostly on weekends. Even an hour 11 year old kid game gets you $30 typically. Gets you out, gets you running, and gets you using your mind quickly. Soon enough, you'd don't even notice the running part. I didn't start doing it until after I hung the uniform up but was surprised all the doors it opened for me. Check out any other sport that may interest you. I mentioned soccer because it's everywhere on the weekends much of the year. However if you really want to do other stuff, go for it.
