How can I make myself more likely to be chosen for an ADOS position?

I am curious as to what things I can do to set myself apart for an ADOS position within the KY ARNG.
I know that whether I get chosen for an ADOS position is based on the needs of the KY ARNG; however, I would love to do anything and everything I can to help get chosen over someone else if there is an open ADOS order, especially locally to me.
Thanks in advance for your assistance, guidance and advice!

Diversify your skill set. If you can, take some time to leave home. Spend some time on title 10 ADOS orders for active duty. Im not saying join active duty. You can be assigned to active duty units temporarily as national guard. Filling unit support functions like S1 or S3 support.
If you cant, do that. Try to support your guard unit by taking extra duty setting up for training events or helping you supply NCO.
Applying for these positions is the same as a job application in the civilian world. If you don't have the work experience now, you need to volunteer your time and work with others. You are always growing your network.
Last if you don't have a military job resume, hit up your local SFL-TAP so they can help you out. You will need that.

Also comes down to funds too. We just put one of our TPU SPC's on his second set of ADOS orders. Get to know your Full Time Staff, and like SGT (Join to see) stated take on extra duty or volunteering. Best of luck to SPC Josh Tharp.
