My recruiter says I have no dd214 for basic or ait, no dd220 or any paperwork showing my active time for basic and ait besides my diplomas and orders. He says I cant rejoin unless I have paperwork showing my basic and ait time. I have called the archives and they cant find it, I have called hrc and they cant find it. Anyone know anything and can help me.

A DD214 is only used for periods of service over 90 days, so if your training wasn't over 90 straight days you won't have one. I've never seen a DD220 and I'd be surprised if you were ever issued one.
Orders taking you to training are sufficient as long as they show the dates. In addition you can get copies of your LES and your retirement points worksheet to show your AIT time.
If that's not sufficient for your recruiter, they are inexperienced and don't know how to fix the problem. Go higher or go to another station.

I did just that today. Next recruiter is 5 hours away near Gainesville ga. Had all my questions answered and 1st sgt even got involved and said my ngb 22 and orders are enough and no need for dd214 since guard normally wont input those anyways. Now I gotta call and get my recruiter to transfer everything over.

SPC (Join to see) it sounds like you just needed someone with enough experience. The recruiters you deal with are detail recruiters and this is a temp job for them so they often are not aware of how to work around obstacles.

I went and called another recruiter in another battalion which is 5 hours away and he passed along all my questions to his command and within 2 hours they called and said the ngb 22 and orders showing my basic and ait are good enough. He said that certain meps stations wont accept ngb 22 and only want to see dd214. So I'm transferring all my stuff to the new recruiter and letting them put me back in.

MSG (Join to see) I had an 18 hour drive back from fort Leonard wood since I was dropping my wife off at ait. She is prior service marines and we both are rejoining. So I had 18 hours to call and ruffle some feathers and do some research. My new recruiter has been recruiting for less than 6 months and found more information out than my current recruiter. I've spent the last 8 months waiting and within 3 hours I had 8 months worth of stuff answered. It went all the way to their commander and 1st sergeant who answered and got back with me asap. It's amazing what can happen when a command works together.

Can't answer your question, but will use your situation to pass along the best pre retirement advice I ever got. When you get your DD-214 bring it to your local courthouse and have them file an official copy. Once that is done you will always know where to go to get a copy, even if you're on the other side of the world.

Holy hell, that is insanely great advice. I didn't know you could just file an official copy of whatever you want!

Excellent advice, Sir. Thank you

Talk to HRC finance and request copies of all your LES's. If you were paid there's a coded record of pay and type of pay to include dates
