How can I stop seeing a certain user's posts on my Home page?

There is a user on here that is always all over my Home/Feed page with some really unusual/questionable posts and often posts a whole lot of them in a row so that it's all I see. I have blocked them, and am not "following" them either. Is there something that I am missing in regards to not having to see them on my page all the time still?
