I've made a post about this before, but i've found another PS guy who wants to take on my next assignment to italy for his assignment at bragg. I've tried all ways that i can far as trying to contact Infantry Branch and they don't respond nor pick up any calls. I dont have a dsn so i doubt they'll ever answer a call. Do i go higher that my POC at Hrc ? Can someone please help guide me in the right direction?

Theres an "Exchange Reassignment" option on a 4187. Not sure what the routing would be but it's a start point to talk to your S1.
Best way to contact branch is by email. If they dont contact you back in 4-5 days I would ICE them. Normally branch has 3 days to respond, but theres only 2-3 people for all the E1-E4.

SGT (Join to see) - yes, you may be active duty, but my prior comment stands. HRC is not going to approve a swap because either one of you could fail jump school.

SGT (Join to see) ICE is a complaint process you can use to rectify problems. I believe it stands for Interactive Customer Evaluations. You need to have a ligit complaint and word it smartly because any ICE complaints go to to General Officer who will action those complaints.
There should be a link to file an ICE complaint on the bottom of the HRC website.

So should we wait until we get our wings and then contact someone ? SSG (Join to see)

At that point, it will still be too late. That’s the challenging part of swaps, and why they are easier in AITSGT (Join to see)

Unfortunately swap rules only apply to individuals in AIT, not PS re-entering service. you are slated to attend jump school with a follow on to Italy. Branch is not likely to even consider talking to you due to this pandemic.

Realistically there is no higher than HRC. Understand that branch doesn’t have to honor your request regardless if you found someone willing to switch, IF they do, it’s a courtesy not a requirement or entitlement. Also, Branch is not back up to 100% strength working, a lot of HRC is still doing telework due to COVID-19, not to mention the back logged of assignments they are working on again due to the pandemic. So trust me, they are not ignoring you, they just have other things that have a higher priority than your situation (no disrespect intended).
