Has anyone else ever got the chance to read The Last Calvaryman? About General Lucian Truscott? I found it at the school's library and it occurred to me that I've never heard of him. What did you think about it?

Read about Patton in Sicily, and you will hear about Truscott, who was commanding 3ID at the time!

Cadet 2LT (Join to see) - Hey, when you play on the Team with Tom Brady, nobody will remember that you were the best Corner Back in the league. The Colonel and I recognize him as the commander of 3ID in Sicily, he was in Italy with Gen. Clark, fought and Anzio and VI Corp in Italy and Southern France. Unfortunately for his legacy, Italy and Southern France were kind of the backwaters of the European Campaign after D-day. Audie Murphy ended up as the most famous soldier in those campaigns.
