I submitted my warrant packet for the NOV board but since it's so early I have time to update my LORs. I have a LOR from my CO, BC, and CCWO for my Senior WO LOR. For my 3 optional LORs, I have a CW4, a CPT that was my BOLC instructor, and a recently retired O8. Should I try to replace the LOR from the CPT or stick with what I have?

Ma’am,
If it helps your decision at all, I only submitted the 3 required LORs when I was selected (CO, BC, and a CW4). The fact that you have 3 additional is great and as others have stated the content is probably the most important.

Ma'am, look at all the LORs objectively, and with a singular focus: quality over quantity—qualitative over quantitative will always offer more than a "rank" heavy, minimalistic LOR. With that, adding the MG's LOR can't hurt though.
Many before you have been selected using the three LORs—you'll be fine. Good luck, and I hope to hear good news in the future!

Do you have an OER yet? Would that be part of the packet. If so, how does the content of the OER compare relative to the LORs?

Sir, my first OER is being written right now and will be in my packet as an update before the board opens. I'm hoping to get a good first OER to boost my packet.

I'm confussed ... you just commitioned a year ago and you already want to do somehting else?
Aside from that, I do agree with MAJ Oyler, content is more important than rank.

She tagged 153A, so flight school is what she is looking at, not SME in a particular field.

I wanted to branch aviation until my senior year when I went to a unit and met the 153A WOs. However, by that time it was too late to switch my ROTC contract to do street to seat so I commissioned FA with the intention of dropping a Flight WO packet ma'am. Thank you for your reply I appreciate your help!

What are they saying about you and is it quantifiable and measurable? What 2nd LT knows a retired general officer in a professional circumstance? Not saying you do not but in my opinion it is what and how they say things about you that is more important than the rank.

1LT (Join to see) - Dont stress so much. You are an officer in the best Army in the world and a female combat arms officer. You have achieved more than the majority you are competing against. Get outside and enjoy ELP, there is so much to do here and let your accomplishments do the work for you.
