How did you get through deployment/ do in your free time

Everyone that has been deployed has done something to help them get through it. What have you done? Play video games, read books, etc? Im interested to see what everyone says. Learn about everyone.

While I understand that there is a lot of events downrange that, for lack of a better word, suck. However, during your tour(s), what did you do to keep your mind off of things? Learn an instrument? School work? Gym time?
