I don't see any waivers being accepted, regardless of the severity of the condition or the current status. The fact is that the military is in no dire need for recruits. If you end up getting upgraded, please let me know, though. I know a few guys who may be interested if they are willing to give such consideration to waivers.

Without knowing what the condition is, here’s a list of Conditions not usually waived:

Medical Conditions Normally Not Waiverable
Many people who are considering the United States Navy as an option wonder if there may be some mental or physical condition from their past which may preclude them from serving. This post is the first of a two part series which will talk about medical conditions and possibly answer your “would I make it with” questions. Today I will list the medical issues/conditions which will not be considered for a waiver.

Well you found a recrutier who's willing to send a waiver up so that's half the battle. Now all you can do is wait

Some people say they will probably deny it and all the recruiters around say I should get approved my recruiter wants me to go to meps for the physical part this week

The Navy accepts more waivers than any other branch. If you are going back to the Navy, that’s your best bet. Other branches are less likely, so it depends on if you are staying Navy or switching branches.

Jacob Fittante That will be your best change. The Navy waves just about anything. Good luck.
