How do I get enrolled in Phase 1 (610-91B30-C45) so that I am able to attend ALC? Is this still a requirement or does SSD2 cover it now?

My 1SG called me into his office one morning asking me if I been to the board. Told him no 1SG, then tells me then how the hell are you promotable already? Next thing I knew I was enrolled into phase 1 of ALC. SSD2 is still a requirement as well. So if can't enroll yourself into it, call your Branch manager, see if they can help you out or have a talk with your 1SG.

You have to complete SSD2 along with completing ALC. And if you are not enrolled, you need to talk to your training NCO to have them enroll you. Easy steps to get this process started .......

I completed my Common Core in 2012. But I just did the DL Pass which is 25 questions and have to pass with 80%. To get enrolled in the DL Phase, your unit has to have you spotted to attend the Phase 2 and 3. Once they do that, it will be open to complete. Then just wait on the date for your Resident classes. The SSD2 thing, I believe your unit has to enroll you.

The STEP program is in effect. ALC is based on promotion points and completion of the needed SSD for you level.

SSD 2 covers this. You also should be contacting your schools NCOIC for your branch, ORDINANCE, he will assist you in getting a slot. You need to make sure you meet all the requirements for this or you will just sit on the back burner and never get to where you want to get to.

You still need PH 1 as a 91B. SSD 2 only replaced ALC-CC not the technical PHase DL. Talk to your Training NCO or Schools NCO to get enrolled.
