You’re probably going to have to give a WHOLE lot more information and background for anyone here to help you.

LTC Jason Mackay I found a brief explanation of it here. Basically it’s almost impossible to get delisted from the database if you’ve ever been accused of a crime unless it was completely unfounded, and it stays for 40 years

LTC Jason Mackay - It's like when you read about being charged for a felony but not getting convicted but it's still used against them. CID uses it on people that piss them off. It's wrong as fuck that they do not delete, or whatever they call it, the titling on people they don't charge. Once being titled doesn't mean they cannot delete it.

I'm going to guess you got titled by CID and never get charged with anything. Getting titled will stay on your record for 40 years. They will title people that are being asses and/or truthful. Being titled is pretty much as bad as being convicted.

I just read up on this, and holy cow, that is a complete lack of due process rights with a deprivation of liberty.

CMSgt Virgil Horsley - Yeah if you're not in the military law enforcement fields most don't know about it. I use CID for reference because I know their practices. All of the branches, CID level of LEOs, probably do the same shit.

Meant to add you might also want to talk to an attorney (usually retired military) or someone whose volunteered their time to your Vet Center or the VA Hospital or Center to you. Bottomline: you might need or want assistance from an Attorney if fighting that is hard or the office for a response to your dispute is unhelpful or unresponsive!

Titling is the decision to place the name of a person in the ‘subject’ block of a CID report of investigation (ROI). Unlike a criminal conviction, which requires proof beyond a reasonable doubt, to title someone only requires existence of credible information that a person committed a criminal offense. Legally, this is a very low standard, far below the standard required at trial by a court of law. Titling is not a legal or judicial decision, it is an operation procedure used by CID.
