Hello RP, I am ARNG, and I am trying to figure out the best approach to get a copy of my medical records from while I was on post at Fort Leonard Wood? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm going to assume since you're ARNG that you weren't stationed there. if that's the case, and you looking for your records from IET you'll probably need to contact their Transition Center - [login to see] or 0977, or your IET Bn S-1. I'd start there. If you were there for NCOES, try the MSCoE En NCOA S-1 ( [login to see] ).
Hopefully someone at FLW can point you in the right direction. Good Luck.

SSG Carlos Madden solid! Thanks, SSG. I was not stationed there, so I wasn't sure. This was some years ago now with OSUT, but I need records that I once had and can longer find. I greatly appreciate the help.

SSG (Join to see) - Mind you I haven't been there in ages but my NCO "get-sh*t-done" hat tells me that this is a decent place to start. Lol

SSG Carlos Madden hello, I called and spoke with a few different people. Ultimately they couldn't locate what I needed so I ended up not getting anywhere with it. They said it was to far past and could possibly be in my archieved records.

I would check at your G1 med and see if they have access for the on line records there. I found that all my records CONUS or OCONUS both Army and Navy MTF were all accessible for printing and this was in 2014. Might wanna try.

Bases don't keep a copy of medical records that they can give out that I know of. Those days are gone. You can go to tricare online and pull all of your medical records from your time in the Army. I can see records from my time when I was in Guard and also my stuff when I was on active duty my first time. Take a look there first.

SFC (Join to see) I am not stationed on this base. I am NG, so I don't have access to alot of the info needed. But some others here got me squared away. Thanks for the suggestions, appreciate your time.

If on active duty, you must request them from Ft Leonard Wood. A little confused, because all record's should be in your medical file. If you are a veteran, you can request one copy per year of your medical records. They come on CD or printed out, depending on what format you want them in.

SP5 Richard Welch When I was active at Knox, I just went down and got them. Now that I am in the Guard I wasn't sure what the process was. I did pull my VA records, but since I am still serving the info I need is not to the VA yet. So all I got from that was info from my prior active duty years. This happen while I was at Leonard Wood for training, I was not actually stationed there. I had copies, but they have been destroyed and I need to LOD and info from a pretty significant injury.
