So, I connected my LinkedIn profile and sent out a message to a few members. Somehow, RallyPoint sends out a new message every 2 weeks to a new group of my LinkedIn contacts without me doing anything. How do I turn this off?

I had the same issue, I went into settings, under "linked accounts" removed my LinkedIn account. Hopefully this works.

Perfect, thanks. I haven't seen this option. Maybe because I have mainly been on RallyPoint through my tablet or phone. I am going to check it out on my PC. Thanks again.

Hi LT Michael Cavaggioni Thanks for reaching out. We don't spam your linkedin contacts, and are overhauling our invitations system in a big way. There has been some confusion in that past over how invitations work - I think because we've made it very easy to select all of your contacts to invite shortly after connecting an account. Lots of folks forget they did this, so I'm working on ways to make it more obvious.

I'm working on a restructure of our invitation process now. Thanks to some solid growth we're at a point where we'd like RallyPoint to grow exclusively through word of mouth. With that said we don't want anyone to feel like their contacts are getting messaged outside of their control.

At the moment, we're working on a new connection with LinkedIn's API, so in the meantime your contacts won't get any messages from RallyPoint (which we aim to send at your discretion). Disconnecting your account should prevent any messages from going out in the future.

If you have any trouble modifying your settings don't hesitate to contact me or SSG Carlos Madden directly.
