I am trying to find out when I will be promoted and how I will be notified? On my iperms information page it says I am eligible to promote Nov 15. However I can not seem to find another information about how and when that will actually take place. And the only thing I see online is the AC promotion list. Is there a RC list that is posted or do I just need to stand by? Thanks for all your help.

To 1LT, it is automatic - as well as to CPT. HRC simply cuts an order. You'll know before your unit does.

Not quite automatic, but just about, so long as you are not flagged the promotion will show up shortly after you hit 2 years TIG. For CPT you need to submit a board packet, the promotion list is released several months after that.

Sir, there is a way on AKO files to see promotion lists got reservists. It's a lot of clicks and it's not always updated on time but it should be there. The best way I can explain how to get there is with this screenshot (see attached). Obviously your command and unit will be different from mine but it's just a guideline.

There is no list for 1lt. It's quasi automatic, just like promotion to E3.

LT, there will be another promotion list USAR officers. Once you are eligible you will have to find a position if you are not in one already. The gaining unit will then submit a 56-r to HRC. About 30-60 days later you will get a promotion order.

There are no 2LT slots in the Army, just as there are no E1 or E2 slots.
