So for all the vets here, how do y'all deal with someone trying to call you "Stolen Valor" in a polite way? Even if they are being aggressive about it? I've been out on a MEB for almost a year now and there's a store in my state with "Superhero Parking" for Vets, Active Duty, Law enforcement and firefighters, while I haven't parked there yet, I'm sure once I do someone will attempt to say something about it. I have my VA Card and my driver's license says Veteran on it and I have an entire album in my phone with pictures of my army times. Now what if this isn't enough to get them to back off? How can I politely tell them they're wrong and to drop the situation?

Not stolen valor...but veteran parking. I used it and some guy made a side comment. I just turned and said yes I am a disabled vet. Where did you serve. He walked off. Im sure it was because I am a woman and no military stickers on car -- not required.

You worry to much, park there and dont worry about what others think or say, or park in another spot.

If what you show them isn't good enough, ask them what they have to verify their ability to call you a liar. If they have nothing, walk away.

You stood up and did your duty did you not? 99% of your fellow citizens either would not or could not do the same. I was a draft dodger and 32, years later retired as a Colonel! Thank you very much for serving our Nation!

I have had this similar situations happen to me a few times ... I tell them that it is their duty to report me to the Authorities ... and then, get a good Lawyer .... At that point, they walk away ...

Ignore them. You know what you did. You don't have to prove yourself to anyone.

In 09 I had a recruiter try it to me. As much as it pissed me off I just let it go over my head.
