How do you deal with someone trying to call you "Stolen Valor"?

So for all the vets here, how do y'all deal with someone trying to call you "Stolen Valor" in a polite way? Even if they are being aggressive about it? I've been out on a MEB for almost a year now and there's a store in my state with "Superhero Parking" for Vets, Active Duty, Law enforcement and firefighters, while I haven't parked there yet, I'm sure once I do someone will attempt to say something about it. I have my VA Card and my driver's license says Veteran on it and I have an entire album in my phone with pictures of my army times. Now what if this isn't enough to get them to back off? How can I politely tell them they're wrong and to drop the situation?

Exactly how ate they calling stolen valor?? In this comment you're thinking they will if you park in the veterans parking place..?? Do you not also gave a Veterans car tag?
I'd make a copy of my 214 and carry it with me. OR if you're legit I'd tell them to mind their own business..period

What makes the individual think your stolen valor? And who is the Individual?
This sounds like a what if question. If you were MEB a year ago you have discharge paper work (DD-214 or other make a small copy of it and carry it with you. Show him you DAV card. The parking is not free you earned the right and you have to show something. If they are not happy with that walk away you owe them nothing.

Honestly, do what I do, ignore them... If they are going to do it in the first place... Most likely, nothing will stop them... so in my opinion... Fuck 'em! Tell them to try and tow your car... No smart tow truck driver is going to do it. And remember the grumpy face when you look at them, roll your eyes, and think to your self... it's just not worth it... you have blood pressure to think about... stop stressing over small people! ;)

As I understand it, you're asking as a hypothetical. I've never run into this kind of thing before either, but to be perfectly honest the best answer would probably be to walk away. Don't engage with someone pulling that as a response is exactly what they want. If someone persists or tries to restrict your movement, then start recording because they're getting into criminal conduct.

Park there if you want to and don't sweat it. SFC Boyd hit it spot on with his Dr Suess quote. If you feel like flashing your VA card at them do that or just walk off and ignore them

There is a lot of misinformation out there on twitter and face book. People can say anything without accountability on these platforms.. They may even say something to you in a face to face situation. You know the reality to all of this. Funny thing about reality; even when it is not believed, it still exists.

I have my VA card, my state Driver's License which states VETERAN in red at the bottom, and a State-issued Veteran plate with the Army seal on the left side. I haven't had anyone try to call me out, but my plan is to simply ignore them and go about my business if they do, because unless they work there or are police personnel with a reason to see my credentials, I need to provide them with NADA.
