I think that overall, I am in favor of the new point system. In some areas the old system would allow me to obtain points faster, and in others the new system will allow for more points. But putting aside my selfish reasons of wanting to make points for promotion, I've always believed that a more educated force could only benefit our country. This new point system seems to lean toward that idea by rewarding education with more points than before.
Also, I'm not sure how I feel about not having points for combat experience. On the one hand I believe that the experience of being in combat definitely brings something to the table as far as what you look for in a military leader, but on the other hand points were previously awarded for being in country, not specifically for any actions performed.

SSG VNicia Young Hello, Specialist! Thanks for posting. It would help me personally if you included more info on the program, because now I'm interested to know. Because my answer is: I don't know anything about it, lol. But would like to.
