A few years ago I was injured during an Airborne operation. As a result of the injury and the lengthy rehab process, somebody somewhere had my SQI removed. I have since PCS'd away from the 82nd, but I was just medically cleared to jump again. My S1 here has tried to add the SQI back, however, every time they do they get a message that it cannot be added by field users. Is there something being done wrong or is this handled at a higher echelon?

Field users cannot add or remove SQI P, that is managed by HRC. There is a whole team at HRC that manages ASI and SQI. You can contact them, but the easiest way will he to contact your branch manager and have them do it for you. Branch managers always need junior level Airborne qualified personnel to fill spots

I just saw you're a SSG not a junior level Soldier. Sorry about that

It's no problem. We were critically short SSG's too before I PCS'd, hope that's still the case.

Like SFC (Join to see) mentioned, that's an easy task for your branch manager. An even easier for a a 12B30 wanting to go back under the XVIII umbrella!

Talk to your G1 and submit your medical records that show that you are now clear to jump
