I am taking my DA photo next month and I had a couple of questions any additional input is appreciated
1. Can I wear my Superior Unit Award since I have orders making it permanent?
2. Do I wear my unit insignia on my shoulders?
3. Am I required to step my awards on my rack? I have been told that ribbons cannot be "split" even though they sell the rack way (i.e. top row has 2 ribbons centered)

I was just researching this myself. Yes to the Superior Unit Award. I was not looking at the other two.

Also, AR 640-30 is clearly outdated considering para. 5(c) states the uniform to be worn is the Army Greens. Unacceptable.
