I have been an avid supporter of Donald Trump since he began his campaign, what I can't understand is how with all the scandals and corruption surrounding Hillary Clinton that people still support her and want her to be president. I know that no candidate is perfect, but I strongly believe that Trump has America's best interest at heart and he is not a politician and that is exactly what we need in the White House. So for those of you that support Hillary Clinton, please give me factual reasons as to why you support her and not Trump.

Playing devils advocate here for a moment... people support Clinton because she stinks less than Trump. Meanwhile much better candidates who don't stink of arrogance and corruption are ignored... because the 55% of Americans who hate Clinton and the 65% of Americans that hate Trump aren't smart enough to realize that they could simply elect someone else.

I voted for Ben Carson. I was astounded this time, like I was in 2012 that of the millions of people in this country the 20 some odd they offered us were such sorry choices. I just don't understand that. Where are the good leaders, visionaries, patriots? Are they too smart to be in politics?

SSG (Join to see) I think that vast majority of Americans would LOVE to elect someone else... but the idea that Trump or Clinton (whichever they oppose) would win because of their third-party vote is a worse prospect. This election isn't about voting FOR anyone, it's about voting against them.

MAJ Bryan Zeski - That is the bill of goods the American people are being sold. The reality though, is that there are other parties, and electing a Libertarian or a Green president would be preferable to rewarding the Democrats or Republicans with the presidency.

SSG (Join to see) - I agree. And I'd love to see that happen. But it won't until a major third-party candidate gets enough traction during the primary season.

When the number one reason anybody is voting for either of these candidates is that they're not the other candidate, you know our country is falling apart.

Our country is not falling apart. This is surely just a bump in the road. In the military we are all masters of adapting to our surroundings and fighting our way through whatever lies in front of us. The same can be said for Americans as a whole. Are we not continuously molding ourselves? We are a determined and incredibly resilient conglomerate of amazing people and I'm damn proud of that. The simple fact that we have the power to change whatever we don't like is what keeps my mind at ease.

You will note, SPC Cody Voye, absolutely nothing of substance came up in the responses. I'm with you, he wasn't my first choice, but a clear majority voted for him and he has all the right issues. Most on here know why Hillary should not be our next president. If there was not a D by her name she would lose half her fans and she were not female the other half would use their eyes and brain and see how corrupt she is. We all would like to see an honest competent woman run and become our first female president.
