How do you switch your regular retirement over to the blended system? I’m trying to get answers for a soldier.

make sure to do the math first, while the blended system looks great, it can be unbeneficial depending on the amount of time you've already invested into the Army.

It's on the MyPay website when you log in. But, only if you're eligible. If you don't see the option, you're not eligible.

If you are eligible, you opt in to BRS using DFAS’ myPay website. Don’t forget to set your contribution percentage and fund allocation!

First step is to log on into JKO and have that Soldier take the 2 hour class on the website(You can probably skip this step, on go straight to my pay, but my pay will ask you if you did the class. You can lie to proceed) Then log into MYPAY and opt in BRS. There is no going back once that soldier opt in. I myself have opt into the new system. Hope this info help SSG.

I've only seen the option on the Mypay, checking my LES. I've avoided that button like the plague. My question to anyone who would do that is "Why". To get a whole 5% match to your TSP contribution? What a deal! Unless the soldier knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that he/she is getting out, there is no reason to switch over.
