VA and Walgreens are national partners, providing no-cost quadrivalent flu shots to enrolled Veterans of the VA health care system. Now through March 31, 2020, enrolled Veteran patients nationwide have the option of getting their flu shot at any of Walgreens’ 9,600 locations, in addition to their local VA health care facilities.
How do I get my flu shot for free at Walgreens?
No appointment is required. Simply go to any Walgreens, tell the pharmacist you receive care at a VA facility, and show your Veterans Health Identification Card and another form of photo ID. (Patients will also be asked to complete a vaccine consent form at the time of service.)

Yes, Walgreens is back on the list and think CVS is off. I've even noticed a few signs saying we now accept TRICARE outside local Walgreens. To answer question, we live close enough to base that we get our flu shots on base, so guess we aren't directly using TRICARE. Understand contracts, etc. but really wish something could be done to stop all this switching between providers every few years. Besides drug stores, we recently learned that the eye doctor we have used with TRICARE for over 10 years is now off the list. Finding new providers is a real pain in the you know what, especially around the holidays.

I get my flu shots these days at Walgreens Pharmacy -- nice folks, courteous and they get me in and out quickly.

This is great and all, but didn't they just change it to where you have to pay up front and put in a claim to Tricare for reimbursement when buying meds off post? I'm almost positive that happened.
