I understand that the board reviews all the packets for the applicants, will I be there as well to review it with them? How different is it from a CO and BN board? Or is it more of a job interview?

In the Corps, back in the middle ages, just getting your package to the Board was the challenge in and of itself. In my case, yes, there was an in person 'interview'...a meeting with the Chief of Staff, before his recommendation to the CO. But don't let anyone discourage you. Army or Marines...the Warrant Officer rank is great.
