well i was supposed to be specialist but orders never came down in time before i got out due to injury after afghanistan - i was in for exactly 30 months( came in as pfc automatically and promotion to spc comes at 24 months) but in that 30 months trained hard in the 82nd airborne and deployed and still in good shape just my knees are shot like everyother paratrooper
