It says he shouldn’t be a soldier. When you take the oath you serve your country wherever it might take you. If you can’t do that,then you need to choose another profession.

We're not involved in the Ukraine so there's nothing to really 'protest' about. Joe himself said he would not deploy forces there, but we have them in neighboring NATO nations as they should be. And economic sanctions have been slapped on Russia by NATO and several nations. Given time they will squeeze Putin's ambitions. It's what ended apartheid in South Africa. There ARE ways to handle crises like that without fighting, at least on our part.

Sad. Not the Army in which I served. What makes you think you get to pick and choose your battles? The way this was done in my time they did in Canada! What a embarrassment to all that serve.
