It’s BS from a POG he wouldn’t even go outside the wire anyway! And as someone who served in the Cold War in the Marines from 81 - 91 Ukraine is an old Warsaw PAC Nation of the old Soviet union nothing new! They are NOT NATO and to be fair it’s none of our business if Russia wants Ukraine back For a new Warsaw PAC. We are not the World Police nor should we be! We fought communism during the Cold War and it still spread though out Asia including South America! Our concerns should our hemisphere with North and South America. During the Cold War America said there would be no communism in South America well while we had our nose stuck in the Middle East communism snuck in our back door and spread all over the South. Which gives Russia and China a foot hold in our back yard! We don’t need to travel tens of thousands of miles to fight wars we can travel a few thousand miles and clean up our own back yard!!!!

Soldiers are required to follow all legal orders, and considerable penalties await those who disobey them. Since when in any army at any time do soldiers get to decide which *lawful* orders they will obey? I wonder if the refusal to take the COVID vaccination by a right wing fringe has led to this?

He obviously doesn't know we are not sending people to fight there and he does not understand the history. Russia will not stop at Ukraine and if it comes down to it the UN may need to actually step in which will put us in a dangerous position...

You should not wear that uniform. This is a "true fraternity" that separates us from the picture you are portraying

In these times I most certainly understand autonomy. As for the uniform? It makes no difference.
All are entitled to express their opinion. You do not give up your right to have and express opinions while in the military. Though there are those that will differ and try to punish these people.

My opinion..

Well first off, we don't know for sure if this is a real soldier. Just because the photos shows what looks like an authentic uniform, it is still suspect. So, We all know that political activities, to include statements are not allowed in uniform, that being said, you still have the right to your opinion, you just have to be more careful how you express it while in the military. The statements of "I won't kill for this, I won't die for this" tells me that this person has some serious misconceptions of what they are in the military for. I understand that they believe we should not be pushing this to the point of engaging in this fight all out, i.e. with ground troops, I agree with that point, but if you are unwilling to follow your orders and do your job as you signed up to do then you need to find another line of work. There are many that I'm sure would take you on with open arms, time to seek the out, and then get out of the military as you are not doing it any good. Hopefully we all go in with our eyes wide open and realize that some of the things that we will be asked to do are less than optimal let's say, and that goes with any job. To take a job and then whine about the things it entails is just childish. Grow up see what life really is and deal with it and make better choices or go home to mommy.

I believe he is in the wrong business. He needs to find a job that is more in line with his fear of actually having to do his job.
