How Does This Soldier's Message Make You Feel?

Well this soldier should know better. In the military, you follow orders and not the other way around. He may feel this way but he should keep it to himself. But our country needs a cohesive military and not one run like a cafeteria...pick and choose what orders and rules you want and don't want to follow.

It's not his message to make in uniform if he wants to protest do it in civilian clothes

By the time Russia invaded Ukraine, that uniform was already out of service, so I wonder if this soldier is currently serving.

Get out of the Army if you do not want to serve and follow all legal orders. Russian leaders are the most corrupt, vicious, dishonest, and dangerous in the world.

I don't agree with anything about the way this "soldier" posted a comment.

But as to Ukraine, please. The current and last FOUR administrations are responsible for the mess in Ukraine. The last four quietly pushed for Ukraine to join NATO. Nothing happened, so Russia was quiet.

THIS administration has 'ties' with Ukraine. Everybody knows it. Deniers are just in the dark about it. THIS administration sent a state department person who apparently "convinced" Ukraine this time to publicly state they want to join NATO. Can you imagine Ukraine in NATO? That would sure make money laundering easier. Russia then invaded Ukraine. Why? Because of Crimea.

Russia did not care about hot air from Ukraine and the previous four administrations. But what they absolutely will not give up is their warm-water port. And the nation-label may say Crimea/Ukraine but most of the population there is Russian.

The US started this mess. The US could end it. But THIS administration and the payola DC group are making too much money from it.

Most believe Russia would not start a nuclear war over this. Maybe they are right. But maybe they are wrong. One crazy Russian field commander could start WW III. If it does start, I only hope it kills the people in government that started this mess at least a few minutes before it kills us.

ha ha ha. That was my feeling about MANY other conflicts. Funny thing is, because I am well educated on WWII and atrocities that happened to MY mother AND father via Japanese and Germans, FEB 2022, when Ukraine was INVADED by the 2nd super power in the world (AKA Russian), if I could have gone I would have been there. People have not learned from WWII. Many RUSSIAN atrocities AFTER they "liberated" Poland. It wasn't just the Jewish that suffered. But Americans don't learn these things and think it is "not our problem". That is what they said until Pearl Harbor. Then, all of a sudden it WAS our problem. A lot too late. MANY more lives were lost.
Let us really do lessons learned AND support Ukraine with everything we have. All of Western Europe is at stake. AND YES, USA also. You think N. Korea and China aren't watching with baited breath to see how they can capitalize on Europe and USA weakness?
It is what it is. We are UNhuman. Human is an oxymoron.

And, when in uniform, you may keep your damn opinions to yourself. You SERVE, you are not served by your own desires. I had a long military career and that was the hardest. I had to serve under presidents I wished were not president. I despised their arrogance, their UNfaithfulness to our country, their NOT saluting those at the bottom of the stairs of AF1/2. etc etc. Nobody cared. You serve your country. If you want a political opinion, wait until you get out or are retired. If you can't do that, get out before you get yourself a courtmartial You clearly don't know what it means to SERVE in the millitary.

Seeing that the poster is a civilian supporter make me wonder if this super patriot .Took the oath and put on the uniform .

Wonder if the “supposed” spec-4 has thought this through. Back down and let the Ukraine fall. Putin wins, Ukraine loses. What is next? Putin understands the West is basically terrified of him, as the Spec-4 is. So, he decides to run with it and demands a projection of the Kaliningrad Oblast to connect it with Belorussia. Unfortunately, this involves either Lithuania or Poland giving up their territory to keep Russia appeased. Not something like
Y to happen. Thus a war between NATO and Russia would incur. The USA, is part of NATO and would be obligated, by treaty, to get involved. This time, it would not mean providing equipment, but providing major troop units; Divisions, air wings, fleets. It would mean a shooting war, which this “supposed” Spec-4 would be involved, being in an airborne unit! So make your choice snuffy,

Definitely in the wrong line of work. As a soldier you go where you're told and fight who they tell you to fight. That's your job. You did not get drafted into the service yet you plan to run to Canada or Mexico if they try to send you to war. It is your fight if the government tells you it's your fight. Take off that uniform and go to Mexico. Canada don't want you either.

What do I think about it.......hmm.... Saddened, sickened, angry and mostly I just want to punch him in his sign! Both patches should be ripped off his arm! Soldiering is all fun and games, until it is time to soldier up! I did not serve because I thought I would be able to weigh in and give my opinion, or because I thought I would make a lot of friends or to pay for my schooling.... why I joined and served went much deeper than that, almost unexplainable. It is almost impossible to me to understand anyone joining who does not feel it in the deepest part of their soul and understand it is inevitable, it is part of who they are. If you can explain exactly why you joined, then you probably joined for the wrong reasons. I agree with 1SG Reid Jr., more than likely this disgrace joined for the college money, or as someone else pointed out, he may get a sick twisted kick try to get these responses.....either way, i feel mostly sorry for him.
