He signed up to be in the military. I guess he never really thought about going to war. Vietnam vets did not want to go fight someone else's war but the did what they were called up to do. They did their job. Next time this guy is do to reenlist, this puzzy needs to get out.

You volunteered for this. Early on I am sure it was explained, that soldiers don't make policy. You carry out the policy of the civilian government. If choose to stick to your position please enjoy your time in Levinworth.

I came into the military of my own free will. I agreed to go where ever they send me. If I died that is the risks I agreed to. You could be killed crossing the street. We are all going to die sooner or later. I came in at the beginning of the Vietnam War and left after it was over. Once Germany wanted to rule the world, Have you considered Russia or China may have the same dream? Most wars are started because someone has something someone else wants. . Japan wanted what was called the Rice Bole of South East Asia. The Bible also gives good examples of this

When you become a member of the armed forces, you give up certain rights. You don't have to agree with why we as a country are getting involved in a particular conflict. You duty is to follow the orders of you superior officer and command and chief, and as long as those orders are lawful and not morally abhorrent then you are to follow them.
Honestly, whomever the soldier is in the picture needs to be ushered to the door and has no business wearing that uniform. They are a disgrace.

I don't think we should have "boots on the ground" in Ukraine, either. But were I still a Marine, I'd go willingly, whether I wanted to or not. Did he join the Army without swearing an oath to obey his superiors? I doubt it. You go where you're told to go and do what you're told to do whether you like it or not. Of course, he can always desert, in which case I hope he enjoys his stay at Camp Fed.

While I agree with what the soldier is saying, you're gonna deploy when they say so. You're gonna go out there and fight like you trained to do. Otherwise, they're either gonna make your life miserable OR you may get seriously injured or die because your attitude isn't right for the situation.

I seem to remember taking the Oath of Enlistment, and I basically signed a blank check. I was fortunate enough to gave that check returned, unwashed. But, had it been necessary, I was willing to respect my Oath and go where I was sent. 11Bravo in Oct. 1965.

You swore to defend our country no matter where you go. No one put a gun to your head to make this oath. You are a liar for picking and choosing when your oath applies. If this isn't what you signed up for GET OUT. Let other soldiers step up and do the work you refuse to do. Liars get nothing and we don't need another Bowe Bergdahl on our hands.

This is from a post 8 years ago in a uniform we no longer wear? Did the propaganda machine edit it to change the sign or something?
