When I signed on the dotted line and took the oath to become a soldier, I accepted the reality that I just might be called to do most anything that was legal under the UCMJ. I served at the pleasure of the President of the United States of America. I also accepted the fact that if I receive an order and it was a legal order I must follow it. The supposed soldier in this post needs to remember that. He is disrespecting the uniform of the United States of America. I do not know if his is misguided or a coward. Show your face and accept the consequences of your actions and stated beliefs. If you cannot or will not follow orders, then you should do everything you can legally do to get out of the military.

This Soldier's Message upsets me, because while in uniform and serving our country must remain neutral. Yes it is Free Speech, but have put your political differences and likes to rest. Want to voice your political opinion, then do it at the voting poll sites. Don't be a influencer. Over all, I have to agree to his message, but not while in uniform.

100% agree! We have no business over there. Our Army should be defending our own borders. Oh wait...

I'm thinking that the 101st has changed quite a bit since I was a soldier there in 1980.

apparently this solder did not get the proper Training on when & Where you can political express your freedom of speech.
no service members can express there political thoughts or views while in Uniform.
if he is serious about not following a lawful order, I recommend he or she not re-enlist ,
I also recommend he pull this down, as a Solder , Sailor, Airmen, Coast Guard, Marine it a good way to ruin your life.
what does this young man think will happen if he is deployed in combat?
he is not the First, nor will he be the last, Service member to have this thought, or Opinion.
The difference is , the other service members followed all Lawful orders.
He also needs to think about what the Enemy will do to him,
if he does get deployed into a combat zone, the enemy does not care, about his thoughts, his opinions or Politics. the Enemy has one thought, that is to kill him and his Friends, before he kill him. this Young man will find out real fast, you are not fighting for GOD & COUNTRY , YOU ARE FIGHTING FOR THE MAN ON YOUR RIGHT, THE MAN ON YOUR LEFT, THE MAN BEHIND YOU, AND IN FRONT OF YOU, AND YOU PRAY YOU DO NOT LET THEM DOWN. If I was serving with this young man, I would encourage him to get out, before he got one of my friends hurt or killed .

I think this person is a coward!!!! Would not count on him to defend our country!!!!
