Although I agree with his sentiment this is unacceptable. This soldier must be punished and retrained.

While I understand his sentiments, SAY IT WITH YOUR CHEST! GET OUT OF UNIFORM AND MAKE YOUR STATEMENT WHOLEHEARTEDLY! But also, be prepared for second-order and third-order effects (some type of fallout) for your thoughts being vocalized. If you aren't ready for that, then you are most likely not mature enough to be in the military. Just my opinion, though.

It doesn't matter how he feels he raised his right hand the former commander in chief opened this can of worms he has a right not to agree with him on the Monisha but if his unit gets deployed to that theater of operations he has two choices follow his orders or suffer the UCMJ as for him not wanting to die his training has equiped him with the skills to fight and survive unless he was to busy smokin & jokin then? Maybe that's why he said he don't wanna die

This is not your choice. Your CIC is who has the final say as to who, when, and where you will fight. Appearantly you are too much of a wussy to show your face.
While I will defend your "tight" to political dissent, this POS needs to be thrown out of the service, PLAIN AND SIMPLE!

Look at the uniform we haven’t used that one for years. It is either a veteran, someone’s kid in dad’s uniform or someone who bought it at a surplus store before posting!

If the person was in civilian clothes I would be fine with it. But being in uniform he or she is making a political statement while in uniform and is a no no.
You are entitled to freedom of speech as much as anyone, when you are not in uniform.
That and hiding your face is a cowardly way to act. You want to have your free speech, then own it, and be prepared to face the repercussions of your free speech. This person does not want anyone to know who they are, they may lose friends or be ostracized by family or something.
By the way. I fully support our friends in the Ukraine. They are fighting for their freedom and way of life. That person is against any war with Russia. I am against any war. But I am all for standing uo against Tyranny. Russia started the war, not Ukraine.

I think the soldier covered his face because he was ashamed that he said that
