How far as a Leader have you gone to help a Soldier?

Had a private wit ha temp of 102, long story short the ball got dropped and couldn't get him an LOD even though it was a drill weekend, managed to plead with a VA doctor to write it off as some sort of compassionate care if I recall. Stuck with him all day after driving him there at 1am when he showed at my door half conscious. A month later the kid stole money from me, so there's that lol.
