How fast does it take to transfer from TPU unit to IMA unit?

I transferred from TPU to IMA back in 2016. My previous unit was TPU based on out Fort Lewis and my IMA unit was based out of the Pentagon. It takes slightly longer than TPU to TPU, but too much (one to two months). The biggest issue is getting transfer paperwork signed and submitted to make the process happen.
