How hard is it to transfer to the Air Force (Air Guard) straight from the Army Reserves?

I'm wanting to transfer to the Air National Guard when my current Army Reserves contract is up (1-1/2 years). I've heard numerous different answers, some say easy some say hard. Wondering if anyone has detailed information. Thanks!

SPC, if this is your first contract, and you haven't met your 8 year statutory obligation, you may need to complete a conditional release request, which is fairly straight forward but can take time.
If you've already been accepted by the ANG, that part should be pretty simple and handled by the recruiter.
