I lost a good friend of mine back in 2003 in Iraq. There were two ways that I honored his memory. I have a KIA bracelet that I wear. I also have a tattoo in his memory. He was a big fan of Spawn which he had a tattoo of. So I also got a tattoo of Spawn in memory of him.

Christopher, It was an honor for me to serve with you at FT Hood. I am glad we are able to reconnect here. Tatoos are a powerful reminder as they are seen day in and day out. I considered doing the same, but It would have been too much emotionally for me. Proud of you my friend!

Thank you Sir, I appreciate it. We will have to get together when I get back from deployment. When you are ready for your first tattoo I'll help you out!

Where are you deployed to now? I am spending time in both Kuwait and Afghanistan right now with trip to BAF, KAF, Phoenix, Fenty, Arifjan, and Buehring.

I think one of the best ways to honor our fallen soldiers is through success. The enemy wants to see America burn down, they want to see America destroyed and nothing upsets them more than a prosperous country where freedom rings. We want to never forget our fallen comrades and the photos you show are also great ways to honor them and we can continue to honor them in those ways.
But if our country to go in a sharp decline, then I believe what they fought for would be in vain. If our country grows leaps and bounds, then I believe we can truly honor the memory and look back to see our country is alive and well because of them.
