Well I can answer about fort belvoir itself only not WTU.
I've been here for a year now and dont like the area (but that's personal preference due to it being Northen VA meaning its city and traffic, in from small country towns.) The post itself is nice with 24hr gym, nice px/commissary, nice rebuilt hospital, and some nice housing (the neighbor I am in I am extremely pleased with with size and what you get, however driving around there are some weird ass hits almost ha.)
Worst thing about it is the gage hours. I came from fort bragg last where there are multiple gates open 24hrs and you could easily get on. Here they only have 1 gate open 24hrs, and multiple other gates with just odd hours. Like 1 is only open m-f some are 5-2100 some are 6-6, just a pain to be driving and remembering which one you can use at what day/time.

Ahh yea im definitely not looking foward to all that traffic. I grew up in NOVA but havnt lived there in a long time so forgot how it was. Im comin from korea so im happy to be back stateside, but im gona have to get used to having odd gate hrs. I was stationed in fort knox so i totally understand the liking of small town feeling. I enjoyed it and pefer it over living in a busy city.
