SPC (Join to see) Do not listen to what others say. All units in the Army are important in fulfilling the mission. Your job is to do the best that you can.

Like any assignment you undertake, it's what you make of it. Don't take anyone's word for how it is at any unit....

It is what you make of it. Some people can see the good in everything, and some can see the worst in everything.

Quartemaster is no different than any other unit. All units are equally important and should have a great deal of unit pride and Esprit Des Corp, do not worry, enjoy!

I'm a 91D and I am currently on my 3rd unit in the Military and second branch. I have come to find every unit has its benefits and disadvantages to another one. Currently I am in the 140th QM co I find that I really enjoy my job in a QM co because I do it. Looking at your MOS I would say as long as you enjoy it you will enjoy your new unit.

I like being Quartermaster except 1SG comes to the cage and start telling me order more this, order more there!!! If I can't get what he wants he gives negative counseling that I didn't comply with the order that he had given!

If your First Sergeant is doing that, you and the Senior Supply Sergeant need to go have a talk with the Commander.

It is what you make of it. As with any other unit in the Army, its how the command climate is.
Personally I was in one (and the reason why I chose to get out of the Army.)

I enjoyed it. My soldiers that I worked with were great. Everyone worked together. I even met my husband there.
