May someone inform me how Reserve annual training pay is calculated? Rate and if have bah? And do we only get two weeks annual training pay even when we have three weeks AT? Thanks

If you are on orders for 3 weeks for AT, you get paid Rank Base pay for 3 weeks. That is 3 weeks of Active Duty pay. And you get paid the BAH for that time frame for what ever BAH rate you fall under.

Annual training pay for reservists is the exact same as Active Duty pay. If you are at AT for 1 week, you get paid AD pay for the week, if it is 3 weeks then it x3. Your BAH would be similarly divided provided you get BAH.
Let's assume you are an E-45 with 4 years of service. That gets you 2891 Base. You then multiply that by .75 to reflect your 3 weeks of service and get 2168.25. This is before taxes and deductions and any garnishments ets. BAH is going to be based on your Grade, your zip code and again multiply by .75.

SGT (Join to see) - BAH Type II is based off rank and dependents. There is a calculator you can google online.

It’s BAH type II if it’s under 30 days and it is based on Rank. it’s The same regardless of zip code and dependents. The easiest way to calculate it is take the monthly amount, divide it by 30, and multiply by the number of days on orders
