How is the conditional 79R SFC board held?

I hold 79R (Recruiter) as a secondary MOS. I chose to be looked at for the upcoming SFC board as a 79R instead of my primary MOS. From what I have heard, the board looks at you under the primary MOS first and if not selected there is the conditional 79R board, if selected I have to reclassify to 79R. Does anyone have experience with this process and know how often they do in fact select people for 79R? TIA
