How likely is a 25U to be sent to pathfinder school?

Damn unlikely, because 1- your unit will have to pay for it, 2- what justification can you make to the unit to allow it.

Probably not very likely. Especially as a Guardsman. But, you never know until you request a course seat from your unit/state.

Not likely but the time to ask is at the end of a fiscal year where they need to spend the money or lose it. They may just say "got ahead and send him". Sometimes request for going to schools, timing is everything.

Not very likely. But I tell you what. Keep on submitting. Literally every class date, eventually someone somewhere will get tired of seeing your name across their desk and send it on.

To pile on, be ready. There was a FORSCOM reg that said you had to be AASLT or ABn qualified to attend Pathfinder. I have seen guard guys without those schools wearing Pathfinder but that is when Arkansas and Oklahoma ARNG ran Camp Gruber and their AASLT school with a bunch of Blackhats from Benning that left AD and went to those Brigades in the Guard. Then MOSQ got hyper scrutinized by states and cool guys schools dried up. MOSQ is tied to federal dollars. One exception maybe if you are deploying and the COCOM directs that there be certain density of pathfinders to run PZs, LCLA, DZSO, and nonstandard rigging of sling loads.

I sat next to a dental technician when I went to pathfinder. So do the paperwork and see what happens.

Extremely unlikely, especially for a PFC, if you’re not in an airborne unit. You’ll need an MOS waiver from the Office of the Chief of Infantry that takes about 90 days to process, and that’s IF your unit can provide justification

I’ve got a 25W attending in October. We’re a signal company. There are a surprising number of slots available to National Guard soldiers. Many states don’t use their slots and it’s a matter of your BN schools NCO working with those other states to get you plugged in, provided funding is available.

Read this FYI.
As a signal SM I recommend Air Assault before Pathfinder. While I was at Campbell, KY that was a requirement.

Army National Guard? Not likely but crazier stuff has happened in the Army. If this is your ultimate goal, keep trying or switch units/MOS to put yourself in a better position to get a slot.
