I Got Kick Out The Army Under Chapter 18 Height and Weight Failure. My Re Code On My DD 214 Is A 3. How Long Do I Have To Wait To Get Back In the Army? Asking Because I Seen Some Information Online Saying I Can Get Back In As Little As 3 Months But Recruiter’s Are Telling Me 6 Months

Right now you probably won't get back in.

SGT Eric Davis - I'm not saying it is impossible, and I'm happy for you, but it is going to depend on the kind of work that the recruiter feels like putting in. I doubt that their recruiting quotas are too high these days and many would rather take the easy handful of recruits than take the time to deal with getting waivers for this one.

SGT Joseph Gunderson I agree why would they waist their time when he meet the standards the first time. Also a height and weight is easy to fix but like you said it depends on th recruiter and also the recruit to meet those standards

Army is hurting for bodies right now. They just contacted a friend of mine who has been out for 4-5 years offering to take him back in. While talking with the recruiter, the recruiter stated the Army increased their numbers for this year and they are not even on track to make their recruiting numbers for last year.
I would work on busting your arse getting physically ready. If you have time to watch TV that is time better spent on conditioning. Be able to blow the fitness requirements out of the water. Show the motivation and stay on the recruiters radar.

The recruiters are correct. Work on your body and visit them when it is time and drive on, Soldier.
